Dzisiaj dwie gry. Pierwsza duża, dwudniowa z udziałem 12 graczy i druga, planszówka fantasy.
1. Fort Bartovski, 1862.
That was our AB1 gaming group game. This time was organised by me. It was an ACW game with fictitious fort Bartovski (the name was taken from our previous games with ironclads), this time attacked from the land. It was 6 players on each side, everyone commanding a division. We used Black Powder rules for the game. Despite the scenario being fully prepared by me, would like to thank Bill for his help with rules and unit statistics. The game was played on three 12'x6' tables.
Była to gra naszej grupy AB1, tym razem organizowana przeze mnie. Była to gra z okresu wojny secesyjnej z fikcyjnym fortem Bartovski (nazwa wzięta z naszych wcześniejszych gier z ironkladami), tym razem jednak atakowany od lądu. W grze wzięło udział 6 graczy, każdy dowodzący dywizją. Do gry użyliśmy zasad Black Powder. Pomimo faktu, że scenariusz był w całości stworzony przeze mnie, chciałbym w tym miejscu podziękować Billemu, za pomoc przy zasadach i statystykach oddziałów. Gra była rozgrywana na trzech stołach o wymiarach 12 na 6 stóp.

The winner of the game would be that side, who at the end of the game owned the fort. During the game, we used almost all the special rules from the Glory Halleluyah! supplement with some differences. One of them was different Rebel Yell! rule, which gave only Confederates them to reroll their 1 miss during the melee, when they charged. We also played our house rules for Black Powder with diverted turn sequence and with my Broken Brigade rule (which state, that until the last unit within the brigade is not shaken, it is not broken yet). During the first day, the Union managed to reach the main road, but there they were stopped by fierce Confederate defence. Despite many trials, they did not manage to break that defence.

Zwycięzcą gry, będzie ta strona, która na koniec gry będzie w posiadaniu fortu. Podczas gry użyliśmy prawie wszystkich zasad z dodatku Glory Halleluyah! z pewnymi zmianami. Jedna z nich była zasada Rebel Yell!, w której pozwoliłem tylko Konfederatom na przerzut jednego nie trafienia podczas walki wręcz, kiedy szarżowali. Grę rozegraliśmy według naszych domowych zasad do Black Powder z odwróconą sekwencją tury i moja zasadą do Broken Brigade (w której dopóki ostatni oddział brygady, nie ma statusu Shaken, nie jest złamaną brygadą). Pierwszego dnia, Unii udało się dotrzeć do głównej drogi, jednak tu została zatrzymana przez obronę Konfederatów. Pomimo wielu prób, tej obrony nie udało się złamać.

Drugiego dnia, zdecydowałem, ze ogrodzenia wzdłuż głównej drogi nie stanowią już przeszkody, oraz by zaszarżować wroga, rozkaz taki nie będzie miał zwyczajowego -2 do wydania. To bardzo pchnęło do przodu Unię. Udało im się w końcu dotrzeć do fortu i walczyć z jego załogą. Niestety, nie udało im się zburzyć murów fortecy (potrzebowali jedynie jednego więcej trafienia w mury...). Fort pozostał w rękach Rebieliantów. Gra zakończyła się zwycięstwem Konfederacji.

2. Halloween game in SESWC.
Our last game in SESWC was something different. As it was Halloween evening and we had something dark to play with. This time Alasdair bring his board game called Eldritch Horror. It is based on H.P. Lovecraft novels and is about a group of investigators, whose task is to stop the Great Old Ones to enter the Earth and destroy everything. Happily, during the game, we managed to stop them and therefore save the world for now, but we did not destroy the evil. As it was a game where we used a lot of beer we discovered at the end of the game, that the best result we can achieve with cooperation. Unfortunately, some of us (I think here about myself mostly), decided to fight fly-looking monsters in Antarctica, with no result... Anyway, it was a lot of fun!
Nasza ostatnia gra w SESWC była troszkę inna niż zawsze. Był to wieczór Halloween i mieliśmy coś mrocznego do zagrania. Tym razem Alasdair przyniósł planszówkę o tytule Eldritch Horror. Nawiązuje ona do prozy H.P. Lovecrafta i jest o grupie badaczy, których zadaniem jest powstrzymanie Przedwiecznych by wstąpili na ziemię i wszystkiemu przynieśli zagładę. Na szczęście podczas gry udało nam się ich zatrzymać i tym samym uratować na razie świat, jednak nie udało nam się zniszczyć zła na dobre. Jako, że podczas gry, umilaliśmy sobie czas piwkiem dopiero pod jej koniec zdaliśmy sobie sprawę, że najlepszą metodą na zwycięstwo byłaby współpraca. Niestety niektórzy z nas (i myślę tu o sobie), zdecydowała się toczyć bezsensowny bój z potworem o wyglądzie muchy na Antarktydzie... Pomimo tego była to niezła zabawa!
