Today game played last Thursday. We gave a try to the new set of rules from Osprey called A Fistful of Kung Fu. It is very interesning set of rules. It is skirmish, where we command of the team of our gang, soldiers, police, kung fu students etc. etc. Everything you can find in the Made in Hong Kong movies. Your team is usually made of a main hero, his co and bunch of normal soldiers who always die as the first... And thats would be all, but this set have something special. A new activation system. Usually our figure can make to up three actions on the turn, if it chose to do only movement it is free and moves as the no it normal, but if it want to do something more he need to test it. If it passes then he can continue the action, but if fail, then opposite hero can make free action. I like this idea very much!
Dzisiaj relacja z gry rozegranej w ostatni czwartek. Przetestowaliśmy nowy system od Ospreya: A Fistful of Kung Fu. Jest to bardzo interesujący zestaw. Jest to skirmish, gdzie dowodzimy gangiem, żołnierzami, policjantami, studentami kung fu itp. itd., wszystkim tym co możemy znaleźć w filmach Made in Hong Hong. Twój zespół składa się z głównego bohatera, jego zastępcy i kilku żołnierzy, którzy zazwyczaj umierają jako pierwsi... I to mogło być wszystko, ale ten system ma coś ekstra. Jest to nowy system aktywacji. Zazwyczaj nasza figurka może wykonać do trzech akcji na turę, jeśli wybierze tylko ruch, to wtedy może wykonać go za darmo, ale jeśli chce wykonać jakąś inną akcję, wtedy musi poddać się testom. Jeśli zda testy, wykonuje wtedy te akcje, jeśli nie, wtedy wrogi bohater może wykonać jakąś akcję. Bardzo mi się ten pomysł podoba!
During the evening in SESWC we managed to play three games. First was about to learn the rules and was played by Ray Neal vs Tim Watson and Campbell Hardie. After that we divided the table on half and played two more games: Bill Gilchrist vs Cambell and Tim agains me. In the first game Bill defeated Campbell and in the second I won with Tim by lucky shot in the Volgas fuel tank. We of course missed few rules, but will come back to the rules and give them the second try.
Podczas wieczoru w SESWC udało nam się rozegrać trzy gry. Pierwszą by nauczyć się zasad rozegrali Ray Neal przeciwko Timowi Watsonowi i Campbellowi Hardiemu. Po tym podzieliśmy stół na pół i rozegraliśmy dwie następne gry: Bill Gilchrist przeciwko Campbellowi oraz Tim przeciwko mnie. W pierwszej grze Bill pokonał siły Campbella, a ja dzięki szczęśliwemu strzałowi w zbiornik paliwa Wołgi wygrałem z Timem. Oczywiście kilka zasad nam umknęło, ale na pewno powrócimy do tych zasad i damy im kolejną szansę.
