Last square to win! Ostatni kwadrat do zwycięstwa!

There is still time for Muskets&Tomahawks in SESWC, so our last game was again played with those great set of rules. We decided that was the last game with basic rules, and with next game we are going to do something more advanced. Again we used Jack's figures.
Ponownie uzyliśmy figur z kolekcji Jack'a.
Battlefield. The roads, village, hills and 'fur' fields are the open, the rest is the  cover and hard terrain. Pole bitwy.

It was again time of French Indian War. This time the French ware: Jack (all regulars), Derek (half of the Indians) and Alastair (rest of the Indians and courer de bois). Their task was to kill 2/3 of the British. The British ware: Jim (British irregulars), Sandy (British Indians and provincional militia) and me (British grenadiers). Our task was to patrol the field. Conditions of our victory ware that, all table wt as divided on 2x2 ft squares and we have to be at last with one figure at the end of any turn.We played on 6 on 4 ft table.
Był to znów czas wojny Brytyjczyków z Francuzami i Indianami. tym razem stronę francuska reprezentowali: Jack (siły regularne), Derek (połowa Indian) i Alastair (reszta Indian i courer de bois). Ich zadaniem było wybicie przynajmniej 2/3 sił brytyjskich. Brytyjczykami z kolei dowodzili: Jim (siły nieregularne), Sandy (Indianie i milicja prowincjonalna) i ja (brytyjscy grenadierzy).
French started with their forces deployed on the table. During the first turn only Sandy managed to get in contact with Derek. Their started fighting, and Sandy's Indians push back Derek's Indians. On the other side of the table Jim deployed all of his troops, but his advantage was stopped by French regulars. Jim did not risk fighting with them and withdraw his troops to the woods. My regulars started their march throw the woods in the center of the battlefield. Meanwhile Alastair managed to take control of the village in the centre, and his Indians moved to the right to stop Jim against taking any further steps into the square No 6. At The end of turn 2 we had patroled 3 squares. Unlucky for Derek his Indians cannot stop Sandy's Indians and have to move back, and Sandy got square No 4. My grenadiers still moving forward finally get to the village, and with fire of their muskets, they forced Alastair's courer de bois out of the village. I was very close to get square No 5. But before this Jim started fighting with Alastair's Indians, and started push them back. To prevent this situation Jack decided to divided his regular troops, and send French marines against Jim, and the other regular unit against my grenadiers. Jack very quickly closed Jim's forces in the table corner. I decided to bring him some help and take the last squares by myself. My brave regulars stand hard agianst French regulars. First the French fire did nothing to me, and my fire in responce did some casualties to French. Next turn some miracle happend. I got three cards in the row: 1st for my officer (so I can put my grenadiers in the order, so I was able to shoot with all 12 figures) than I got 2 cards for my regulars, and Sandy one card for his militia. The fire the French received was very deadly for them, so the problem of the French regulars was resolved. During this action my forces taken the 5th square, and only one left to get victory. Situation of the Jim's forces in this moment was very critical. To clean my way to help Jims's forces, I had to get of all my forces off the cover and stand in the open, it gives oportunity for Derek's Indians to start firing at me, so I got some casualties. My next plan was to remove or burn those Indians alive in the buildings, than get at the back of the French marines, so it will give time for Jim to restore his forces and to finally win the game by taking the last square, but the time for the game was over... I think that it was a draw for British, we ware much closer to achieve our goals than French. As the information British lost 20 figures and French 24.
Aby zapobiec temu Jack zdecydował się rozdzielić swoje oddziały regularne i wysłał francuskich marines przeciwko Jimowi, a drugi oddział przeciwko moim grenadierom.
