Yesterday I wrote that instead of the first game the By Fire and Sword we played a the something else - this game was Kiss Me, Hardy. Most of certainly knows those words that are the last words of Admiral Nelson, said shortly before his death at the Battle of Trafalgar. So it also know what this rules are about, of course, naval warfare during the Napoleonic era.
Wczoraj pisałem, że zamiast pierwszej gry w Ogniem i Mieczem zagraliśmy w coś innego - tą grą była Kiss Me, Hardy. Większość na pewno zna te słowa, które są ostatnimi słowami admirała Nelsona, wypowiedzianymi krótko przed swoją śmiercią podczas bitwy pod Trafalgarem. Wiadomo też czego dotyczą te zasady, oczywiście wojen morskich w czasach napoleońskich.

Before I write about our game, something about the rules, however, I will write a full review of the system after a few games, so that I will be able to describe all the strengths and potential weaknesses. Kiss Me Hardy is writen by Nick Skinner from TooFATLardies - and that's means something. Generally, the rules are quite easily absorbed, in our game played three novices and after a few turns we ware able without any problems lead our ships. So far, I can only say that the rules are pretty cool. Already by the way, I can say that this game coincided with some another event, but more on that tomorrow.
Zanim opiszę naszą grę, trochę o zasadach, jednak pełną recenzję systemu napiszę dopiero po kilku grach, dzięki którym bedę w stanie opisać wszystkie mocne i ewentualne słabe strony. Kiss Me, Hardy jest autorstwa Nicka Skinnera od TooFATLardies - a to już o czymś świadczy. Generalnie zasady są dość szybko przyswajalne, naszą grę rozgrywało aż trzech nowicjuszy i po kilku turach już bez problemów mogliśmy dowodzić naszymi okrętami. Jak na razie mogę powiedzieć jedynie, że zasady są dość fajne. Już tak na marginesie mogę powiedzieć, że ta gra zbiegła się z jeszcze innym wydarzeniem, ale o tym jutro.

We stopped the game, due to the the lack of time, but victory of the French fleet was clear more than enough. Here is a summary of damages of both fleets:
