Do never trust in Austrian cavalry! Nigdy nie ufaj austriackiej kawalerii!

Finally, after a long period of time, our club is reopened! It is an amazing feeling once again to have a meeting with a group of wargamers and do some dicing. For the first game, we choose Michael's Seven Years rules. It was a great opportunity to use our new armies. I was able to put my freshly painted Saxons and Michael his Prussians.

W końcu po długim okresie oczekiwania, nasz klub jest ponownie otwarty! To wspaniałe uczucie móc znów spotkać się z grupą wargamerów i porzucać trochę kostkami do gry. Na pierwszy raz wybraliśmy Michaelowe Seven Years. To była doskonała okazja by użyć naszych nowych armii. Ja mogłem wystawić moich świeżo pomalowanych Sasów a Michael swoich Prusaków.

2. The game. Gra.

I was going to execute my usual plan. With cavalries broke the enemy flanks, block their flank infantry brigades. Then my both infantries attack and destroy their elite brigade. Sounds great? It appeared to be the opposite. Campbell charged me first and the nightmare begins. In just one turn he destroyed my left flank! On the other side, the situation was almost the same, with that difference, that my cuirassiers survived. Things looked very bad for me...

Tym razem miałem zamiar użyć mój zwykły plan na bitwę. Kawalerzyści mieli rozbić wrogie flanki i dzięki temu zająć boczne brygady piechoty. Wtedy moja piechota miała zaatakować ich elitarną brygadę piechoty i ją zniszczyć. Brzmi nieźle? Okazało się być całkowicie inaczej. Campbell zaszarżował na moją kawalerię na mojej lewej stronie i w ciągu jednej tury ją rozbił! Po drugiej stronie sytuacja była prawie identyczna, z tą różnicą, że moi kirasjerzy przetrwali. Sprawy przybrały dla mnie bardzo zły obrót...

I had to create something like a massive square, but it was a matter of time when the Prussians will be able to shorten the range and destroy my units with their muskets and guns. When it finally happened and my first unit broke, I decided to do what the Saxons did at Pirna and surrendered. 

Musiałem stworzyć coś na kształt wielkiego czworoboku, ale to była tylko kwestia czasu, gdy Prusacy w końcu skrócą dystans i rozstrzelają mnie przy użyciu swoich muszkietó i dział. Kiedy w końcu się to stało i mój pierwszy oddział został zniszczony, zdecydwowałem się zrobić co, Sasi zrobili pod Pirną i się poddałem.
