2. The game.
In our game, a Panther squadron was sent to bomb a target target located over the Yalu River. The American military anticipated that the Korean MiGs would be waiting for them somewhere along the way. To ensure the Panther's safety, two Sabre squadrons were deployed to provide them with long-range coverage. The Panthers were the first to appear in our game, followed by the Korean MiGs 18 inches away. The Sabres were to enter the table in the second round, in places designated by the Korean players.
Migs attacked the Panthers but were unsuccessful. Then, only my squadron joined the fight, as Alasdair had a longer way to go. David's Migas were mainly against me, but I managed to shoot one down. Later, Alasdair joined the fight and got behind Tim and Michael's Migs, forcing them to move away from our Panthers. However, Michael surprised us by turning around and attacking both my planes and Mike's Panthers. He was on our tails in both cases and managed to shoot down one of my planes and one of Mike's. His attack aborted the bombing mission, forcing Mike to withdraw. Fortunately, Alasdair's attack resulted in the shooting down of another Mig and forced the Koreans to withdraw. Nevertheless, the game ended in victory for the North Koreans. Kim Il-sung would be proud of his pilots.
