Ace, no more! Death of Goering. As, już nie! Śmierć Goeringa.

The Wings of Glory became very popular recently. Therefore we had another game. This time Peter came up with the scenario. After the British and French bombed the German airfield, they wanted revenge. Two Allied planes were grounded this time, whereas only one patrolled the sky. Germans secretly did thier 6 movements and then revealed their aircraft. Then the British player had to roll a dice, to launch his planes (on the first turn it had to be 5 or 6, on the second 4,5,6 and so on). He managed to do it on the third turn. The battle began.

Wings of Glory stało się ostatnio bardzo popularne. Dlatego też rozegraliśmy w nią kolejną grę. Tym razem Peter wymyślił scenariusz. Po brytyjsko-francuskim ataku na niemieckie lotnisko, Niemcy zapragnęli rewanżu. Dwa alianckie samoloty były wciąż na lotnisku a tylko jeden patrolował przestworza. Niemcy wykonali sekretnie 6 ruchów, po czym pojawili się na stole. Wtedy brytyjski gracz mógł poderwać swoje samoloty do lotu (w pierwszej turze na 5,6, w drugiej na 4,5,6 i tak dalej). Udało mu się to w turze trzeciej. Bitwa się rozpoczęła.

We managed to get to the airfield, but only Peter was on the correct high, to attack grounded planes. When they launched, the Germans find themselves in a big problem. First Alasdair was shot down, by one of Tim's planes, then Goering (I) managed to revenge Alasdair and shot down Tim, however soon after the second Tim's plane shot down Goering. Unfortunately, he finished with an explosion, so no chance of survival. He finished with a total of 3 numbers of kills (so far the bigger number achieved). Then Tim returned with another plane, this time Russian and shot down Peter. That finished the game with Entente's victory.

Udało nam się dotrzeć do lotniska, ale tylko Peter znalazł się na właściwej wysokości, by zaatakować samoloty na płycie lotniska. Kiedy wystartowały, Niemcy znaleźli się w poważnych kłopotach. Wpierw zestrzelony został Alasdair, przez jeden z samolotów Tima, który został wkrótce zestrzelony przez Goeringa (ja) i w ten sposób pomściłem Alasdaira. Goering nie cieszył się długo sukcesem, bo wkrótce został on zestrzelony przez drugi samolot Tima. Niestety, wywołało to eksplozję maszyny, więc pilot nie miał szans na przeżycie. Zakończył karierę z 3 zestrzeleniami (jak na razie jest to najwyższa osiągnięta liczba). Wtedy Tim powrócił z kolejnym samolotem, tym razem rosyjskim i zestrzelił Petera. To zakończyło grę, wygraną Ententy.
