Nasza ostatnia gra w SESWC bazowała na bitwie pod Oriskany, która miała miejsce 6 sierpnia 1777 roku. Bitwa ta jest jedną z niewielu bitew (podczas amerykańskiej wojny o niepodległość) jaką po obu stronach toczyli ludzie urodzeni w Ameryce: Lojaliści i Rdzenni amerykanie przeciwko Patriotom przy absencji wojsk brytyjskich. Dla Irokezów bitwa ta oznaczała początek wojny domowej, gdzie Oneidowie sprzymierzeni z Amerykanami walczyli przeciwko innym Irokezom (w tej bitwie głównie Senekom).
Niestety na to spotkanie w klubie nie przyniosłem aparatu i dlatego nie będzie tym razem zdjęć z bitwy. Możecie jednak zobaczyć i przeczytać raport z bitwy na blogu Bill'a.

Our last game in SESWC was based on battle of Oriskany, which had place on 6th of August 1777. This battle was one of the few battles in the AWI where almost all the participants ware North American: Loyalist and Native Americans fought against Patriots in the absence of British soldiers. For the Iroquois nations, the battle marked begining the civil war, as Oneidas allied with Americans fought against other Iroquois nations (in this battle mostly Senecas).
