Unlucky British Grenadiers. Pechowi brytyjscy grenadierzy.

Another thursday and another Muskets&Tomahawks game. I think that we are going to be a little addicted to that game :). What can we said... this rules are great. Once again we used Jack's figures for our game.

Następny czwartek i następna gra z użyciem zasad Muskets&Tomahawks. Coś mi się wydaje, że stajemy się powoli uzależnieni od tej gry :). Co możemy zrobić... te zasady są po prostu znakomite. Ponownie tez użyliśmy figurek Jack'a.

Battlefield. Pole bitwy.

This is how the game was played. It was again time of French Indian War. This time British (Jack - irregulars and Mohawks; Michael - half of the regulars and militia; Paul - the other part of the regulars and other irregulars) ware atacking the French civilians (leading by me) in the village defending by Jim(irregulars, and small part of Indians), Derek (rest of the Indians) and me (regulars, militia). British had to slaughter at least 2/3 of the civilians, French had to defend them for any cost. British commanders decided to storm with regulars and militia the village and atack with the irregulars and Indians French flanks. My task was to protect the village and Jim and Derek had to protect my flanks. Becouse Derek was busy with some club bussines by most of the game his troops ware commanded by Jim. On the French left wing Mohawks and irregulars trying to assault our coureur de bois, but becouse of the presence of my regulars they only moved to the edge of the woods and stayed there. Our Indians which we ware kept in reserves sone arrived over there and massakred all Mohawks and push back all British irregular. Thanks this I was able to moved regulars to the village. On our right British grenadiers and some irregulars tryed to crush our irregulars and regulars but had the stalemate there and no one been able to do anything over there. The most important things happend in the centre. First the british grenadiers push back the french militia, and after this they puch back Indians, trying to support militia. Now the British had their way to the village opened. They storm the buildings and happend something unexpected. The civilians pushed back grenadiers. British cannot get the houses, set fire on them. It would be stupid idea to kept them there, so they had to escape from burning buildings. During this escape, they fell under fire of the second group of grenadiers but there was the moment when my regulars arrived into the village. With their fire, they massacred british grenadiers and militia and get our civilians some cover against further loses. In that moment the game has finished. It was French victory, we save most of our civilians and push back British on our left and in the centre. We lost 19 figures against 27 British.

A tak gra została rozegrana. To był znów czas wojny Brytyjczyków z Indianami i Francuzami. Tym razem to Brytyjczycy (Jack - nieregularni i Mohawkowie; Michael - część regularnych i milicja; Paul - druga część regularnych i nieregularnych) atakowała francuskich cywili (prowadzonych przeze mnie) we wsi bronionej przez Jim'a (nieregularni i mniejsza część Indian), Derek'a (reszta Indian) i mnie (regularni i milicja). Brytyjczycy musieli wyrżnąć przynajmniej 2/3 cywilów, Francuzi musieli bronić ich za wszelką cenę. Brytyjscy dowódcy zdecydowali się na przeprowadzenie szturmu na wioskę z użyciem sił regularnych i milicji, natomiast siły nieregularne i Indianie mieli atakować francuskie flanki. Moim zadaniem było utrzymanie wsi a Jim i Derek mieli osłaniać moje skrzydła. Ze względu na to, że Derek był zajęty sprawami klubowymi, przez większą część gry jego siłami kierował Jim. Na lewym skrzydle francuskim Mohawkowie i nieregularni próbowali zaatakować naszych coureur de bois, ale obecność moich sił regularnych dotarli jedynie do skraju drzew i tam pozostali. Wkrótce tam skierowaliśmy naszych Indian, pozostających w rezerwie, którzy zmasakrowali Mohawków i zmusiło brytyjskich nieregularnych do wycofania się. To pozwoliło mi przesunąć moich regularnych do wioski. Na naszej prawej stronie brytyjscy grenadierzy próbowali zniszczyć naszych regularnych i nieregularnych, ale doszło tam do sytuacji patowej i nikt nie był w stanie zrobić tam niczego. Najważniejsze rzeczy jednak działy się na środku. Tam Brytyjscy grenadierzy zmusili do wycofania się francuską milicję a następnie Indian, próbujących ich wesprzeć i w ten sposób otworzyli sobie drogę do zabudowań osady. Ich szturm na domostwa zakończył się dość nieoczekiwanie, cywile odparli atak grenadierów. Brytyjczycy nie mogąc zdobyć budynków podpalili je. Cywile nie mogąc w nich pozostać musieli z nich uciec dostając się w ten sposób pod ogień drugiej grupy grenadierów. W tym właśnie momencie przesunąłem swoich regularnych do wioski, którzy swoim celnym ogniem zmasakrowali Brytyjczyków i dali osłonę cywilom, którzy bezpiecznie opuścili plac boju. W tym momencie gra została zakończona. było to bezsprzeczne zwycięstwo francuskie. Ocaliliśmy większość naszych cywilów, rozbiliśmy środek i brytyjskie prawe skrzydło. Francuzi stracili 19 figur, natomiast Brytyjczycy 27.
