Berlin 1919.

If you made an amazing table, you have to use it for more than only one game. So that was the idea of the Berlin table. You have seen the Berlin 1945 game, so last Wednesday was next game on the same table, but now the 1919, 28mm, Bolt Action game and the Spartacist Uprising.

3. The game. Gra.

I was the leader of the Freikorps units, who have to clear the Berlin street off the revolutionaries. I have divided our forces on three groups, the first two (both Freikorps) have to take control over the buildings, the third group (Bavarians and Selbstschutz), who have to attack from the Tiergarten. I was expecting that Spartacists will be present in the buildings with the most of their troops. However for our luck, they did something completely opposite.

Our troops haven't met a large resist from our enemies in the city and very quickly we took control over the buildings. My part was cleared during the first turn (I have destroyed one Spartacist unit), some problems were on the Martin's side, where was more hidden Spartacist units. During the fight Martin lost his first unit. Just after this, the first reinforcements arrived for both sides. Spartacist left my side unattacked and concentrated their efforts on the Martin's side. During this attack Martin lost another unit and the building. The situation became quite problematic. However next Freikorps units arrived and with the help of new units and my forces we managed to clear almost all buildings, at the end of the game, only one left in Spartacist hands.

Tim, who was attacking from the Tiergarten has to fight against the Sailors. It was the tough opponent. Sailors were supported by gun and machine guns but those were destroyed very quickly. Without support, Sailors units get destroyed and Tim started to clear the buildings at the Brandenburg Gate. With his gun he managed to did this and together we stopped the Revolution. The game was over with our victory.
Marynarze byli wspierani ogniem działa i karabinu maszynowego, jednak te zostały dość szybko uciszone.

And small advise how to destroy an enemy Armoured Car with your Armoured Car when you don't have a gun. Just ram it and with a bit of luck you are able to destroy it. I managed to do that!!!
Po prostu go staranuj i przy odrobinie szczęścia możesz go zniszczyć. Mi się to udało!!!

    1. Thank you Phil. When I declared it, all boys were suprised and have to check this in the rules. There is something like this and after few attemps (you need pass morale test on -3) I finally managed to do it.
